Dr. Lingo, an Evansville native, graduated from Rex Mundi High School in 1966, University of Evansville in 1970 and Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1974.
Dr. Lingo discovered he had a natural talent for understanding the contour, structure and function of natural teeth when he worked as a dental lab technician in college. Graduating dental school with honors, Dr. Lingo began his dental practice at 1000 Diamond Avenue. Due to the Diamond Avenue expansion, in December 2005 Dr. Lingo relocated his practice to 3323 Mariner Drive, at the intersection of Oak Hill and Lynch Roads.
The Mariner Drive property encompasses approximately 2 ½ acres and includes a small lake with fountain as part of the multiple improvements made for the purpose of conserving wildlife and natural habitats. The Mariner Drive property has been officially recognized as a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Foundation.
Dr. Lingo avidly pursues continuing education and is an active member of the Indiana Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Association of Implant Dentistry, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, the International Congress of Oral Implantology and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Lingo has been married to MaryAnn, his practice manager, since 1980. Their only child, Sam, returned to Evansville after earning his MBA from the University of North Florida.

Dr. Lingo and MaryAnn are not "empty nesters." Isa, Bella (Schnorkies), Georgia and Jasmine (Yorkie-Poos) accompany Dr. Lingo and MaryAnn everywhere, including work, and have their own inside and outside designated "play areas" where patients can visit.
