Intraoral Camera

Diagnostic Laser

Our DIAGNODENT cavity finder laser can actually detect developing tooth decay inside the tooth earlier than X-rays by measuring tooth density and hardness. This allows earlier treatment, which means damage to tooth structures is reduced and reduces the chance for major problems later.

Metal-Free Dentistry

With new CAD/CAM technology, a zirconia substructure is milled from a solid block, replacing the previously used metal base in crowns and bridges. In addition to being more aesthetic, the surrounding tissue responds more favorably.

Metal fillings are no longer necessary! Reinforced composite fillings are more aesthetic and bond to the tooth structure for a better seal with increased strength.

Flexible acrylic can replace your metal partials so that no metal clasps are visible.           

Spectrophotometer

The VITA Easyshade incorporates multiple color spectrophotometers at varying angles for the measurement of hue, value, and chroma to accurately match crowns, veneers, and fillings to the patient’s natural teeth.

 

Digital X-Ray Imaging

Digital X-rays have benefits both to the patient and the environment. “Old” X-rays used photographic film and high-power settings to expose the film. Film requires chemicals to develop and the used chemicals get discharged into the sewer system. Digital X-rays expose the patient to 80% less radiation, can be seen more readily on a video monitor by both patient and doctor, and can be digitally enhanced for better diagnosis. Plus, there are no chemicals required to develop—just a digital scanner.
